Studio Share

Watson bought a row of derelict shops in the Moncreiffe area of Perth in 2004. Her and her partner converted the row of shops and eventually sold the properties on to tenants after renting them to local entrepreneurs. The money raised enabled the studio Artspace to be run successfully for the local community as a studio for many years.

Workshops

Watson has created funding opportunities for large scale community projects across Perth and Kinross. This project above was a cross schools primary 7 project that involved all pupils in their final year at Kinross High catchment. The project was delivered on Loch Leven and the resulting artwork responded to the rich natural .Habitat of the local area

New Media

Workshops in film, photography, digital imaging have been run within the artspace studio and Watson has project managed large scale national digital art projects including “Placebook Scotland” and the “Young People’s Art Project”..
